Rustem Khamitov estimated readiness of objects constructed in Ufa for the SCO and BRICS Summits

On February 5, the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov estimated the readiness of hotels under construction and renovated cultural and business complex "Congress Hall" as part of preparations for the SCO and BRICS Summits in Ufa.
The Head of the Region visited seven hotels, two of which were in high readiness. Installation of kitchen equipment, recruitment of personnel and rooms preparation is among the remaining works. It is planned to open "Atoll" hotel in Gogol Street in three weeks, and the hotel "Hilton Garden Inn Ufa" in Aksakov Street will be ready to receive its first visitors on March 20.
During the examining of "Hilton Garden Inn Ufa" Rustem Khamitov visited conference rooms, a restaurant and hotel rooms, as well as tested Wi-Fi. As the head of the developer LLC "KESKO" in Ufa Vladimir Shimin said, hotel guests would be able to take advantage of broadband Internet access at a speed of 100 Mbit/s, provided by a unique equipment bypassing obstacles.
According to Rustem Khamitov, immediately after the opening, the hotel should be run in full capacity in order to avoid force majeure situations during the Summits.
In the other five hotels — "Park City Ural" in Mendeleev Street, "Hampton by Hilton Ufa" in 50 let Oktybrya Street, "Holiday Inn Ufa" in Verhnetorgovaya Square, "Bashkortostan" in Lenin Street and "Sheraton" at the intersection of Tsurupy and Zaki Validi Streets — works are going on according to the schedule.
The Head of the Republic also estimated the reconstruction of the cultural and business complex "Congress Hall", which will be the main venue of the SCO and BRICS Summits. The Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan Ruslan Mirsayapov told that the main construction works were being conducted on the 0 and -1 levels, where there were premises for large meetings and negotiations. All of them are prepared in strict accordance with the requirements of the federal organizing committee.
Rustem Khamitov examined all four levels, the main halls and utility rooms, stressing that much work remained to be done. Ruslan Mirsayapov noted that the renovation was performed in accordance with the schedule and the object as a venue for international summits will be fully ready by July 1.
