Ufa ballet dancer Sophia Valiullina took part in the Moscow concert of Spivakov Foundation


UFA, 4 February 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. Young Ufa ballerina Sophia Valiullina at the invitation of Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Foundation took part in concerts in Moscow. She performed "The Swan" to music by Saint-Saens.

10-year-old dancer Sophia Valiullina are engaged in Ufa Dance Theatre "Bravo" (teacher — Honoured Artist RB Svetlana Kharisova) and is a scholarship holder of the Spivakov Foundation.

The concert "Christmas Miracles" was held in the Chamber Hall of the Moscow International House of Music. Sophia performed with renowned young cellist Iskandeor Khannanov and pianist Gulnaz Valiullina.

The second concert was held in the Italian courtyard of the State Museum of Fine Arts named after A.S. Pushkin. The event was attended by the Minister of Culture of Russia Vladimir Medinsky. As part of the concert the awarding ceremony of several young artists from Russia and Ukraine with Grants 2015 was held.

According to Sophia’s mother and concertmaster Gulnaz Valiullina, participants of the event — gifted children from different cities made friends and prepared joint performances. Already a trio has formed: cellist Maria Slaschova from Perm, harpist Alice Sadikova from St. Petersburg and Sophia Valiullina from Ufa. The ensemble is planning further joint performances.
