Skype service is being translated to the Bashkir language
UFA, 4 February 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Rozaliya Valeeva/.
Skype service is being translated to the Bashkir language, the author of the project Ildar Kinyabulatov informs.
“At first I enjoyed the Bashkir interface only by myself, gradually adding new translations,” the author of the project said. “At the end of 2014 I thought that teamwork would be more effective, so I posted the source files in the shared access and created a group in the social network «VKontakte». To cope with this task, we need people who know the Bashkir language, translators and developers. At the moment, 60 percent of all phrases are translated, many of which need to be improved. Including the Bashkir language in the official Skype package is our main goal.
Instructions how to enable the Bashkir language in Skype are posted on "VKontakte".
Recall that in October 2013, the Moscow designer Ildar Kinyabulatov together with 30 translators- enthusiasts developed the Bashkir interface of the social network "VKontakte". The Bashkir version was launched on October 11, 2013, on the Republic Day. Work on the project lasted six years. 17 thousand texts were translated, many new words were developed that correspond to the terms common on the Internet. Among the translators there were writers, teachers, journalists. Then the Bashkir "VKontakte" has become available to everyone.
