On February 3, the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, who is on a working visit to Ufa, and the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov examined the prices in one of Ufa pharmacies of the chain SUE "Bashfarmatsiya". The Head of the Region noted that it was one of the few public pharmacy chains in Russia, which was preserved in the course of market reforms.
Dmitry Medvedev carefully examined the assortment and talked to customers.
“It is important that certain types of drugs are not ousted from the market, because, for example, some foreign pharmaceuticals are very expensive,” the Prime Minister said.
One of the visitors told the Prime Minister of Russia, that the cost of the drug for blood pressure, on average, increased by 10 percent. In addition, since June last year the pensioner could not have got free medicine prescribed for her because it is not available.
“Now we will sort out what is happening with medications across the country, and, of course, in your republic, how to support people anyway”, Dmitry Medvedev said.
