Ufa entered the top twenty rating of large cities for quality of life

Ufa took the 18th place in the rating of life quality in major Russian cities in 2014. The study is presented by the Department of Sociology of the University of Finance under the Government of the Russian Federation. Tyumen is recognized the leader of the rating, followed by Moscow and Kazan.
The rating is based on information from 37 cities with a population of over 500 thousand people. Sociologists analyzed the satisfaction of people with public health system, housing and municipal services, educational institutions, accomplishment of cities and improvement of road infrastructure, willingness of the population to migration, as well as self-esteem of level of income.
Also, the capital of Bashkortostan took the 13th place in the rating section on quality of health care and security, and the 17th — on the state and quality of housing services.
Volgograd took the last place on quality of life rating.
