Bashkiria will increase budget spending on the development of trade by one third

Funding for the state program "Development of Trade of the Republic of Bashkortostan" for 2013-2018 at the expense of the republican budget is increased by 32.2 percent — from 187.7 million to 248 million rubles. Amendments have been made by the Governmental Resolution of Bashkortostan, published on the official website of legal information.
The total funding for the program taking into account extra-budgetary sources is increased by 42 percent, from 428.3 million to 606.7 million rubles.
At present, the share of trade in tax revenues of the consolidated republican budget is about 10 percent. The trade is second only to the industry in this indicator. It leads in number of jobs providing employment for more than 200 thousand people. The share of trade in GRP is 15 percent.
The main problems of the sector, according to the compilers of the program are a high level of inflation against the backdrop of limited purchasing power, lack of infrastructure, administrative barriers.
The objectives of the program are presented as a series of indicators. Thus, by 2018, a consolidated index of wholesale and retail trade, catering and domestic services measured by volume is expected to reach 103.4 percent to the previous year, higher than in 2013 (101.9 percent) and 2014 (102 percent) per annum, but less than the index at the time of the program development (105.6 percent). Annual investments in the sphere of trade, public catering and consumer services will grow from allegedly 2 billion rubles in 2013 to 2.6 billion rubles in 2018. The sales volume of food products manufactured by republican producers in other regions of the Russian Federation will increase from 21.1 billion to 34.2 billion rubles, respectively.
