Brazil President Dilma Rousseff is looking forward to visit the BRICS Summit in Ufa


UFA, 12 January 2015. /Bashinform News Agency/. Dilma Rousseff, the President of Brazil believes that relations between Brasilia and Moscow will develop fruitfully both bilaterally and in the format of cooperation as part of BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa), ITAR-TASS informs referring to the First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Alexander Torshin. The Senator headed the Russian delegation at the official inauguration ceremony of Rousseff for the second four-year presidency term.

According to Alexander Torshin, "the President of Brazil told him that she was looking forward to visit the BRICS Summit in Ufa" in July this year.

"The President of Brazil named development of relations with BRICS partners as one of top priorities of its foreign policy speaking in the Parliament immediately after the oath taking", the head of the Russian delegation said.

"In Moscow great attention is paid to development of multilateral cooperation with Brazil and appreciate its balanced position in relation to complex issues affecting the situation in Europe and other parts of the world," the Russian senator marked.
