Residents of Bashkortostan will be able to watch digital TV for free in 2015

In 2015 digital terrestrial television of modern standard DVB-T2 without monthly fees will be launched in Bashkortostan. This was reported on the website of the Government of the Republic.
Digital television will improve the quality of image and sound, expand the number of available channels to the population.
At the first stage the region's residents will be able to receive 10 channels of the first multiplex, and then 10 channels of the second multiplex.
In general, digital television network of the republic will consist of 215 broadcasting objects. It is expected that 95 percent of the residents of Bashkortostan will be able to watch free digital channels.
The first television towers are already built in the cities of Beloretsk and Birsk, villages Tyupkildy of Tuimazy region and Tolbazy of Aurgazy region.
