Index of industrial production amounted to 103.3 percent in Bashkiria in January-November, in the Russian Federation - 101.5 percent

Industrial production increased by 3.3 percent in the Republic of Bashkortostan in January-November compared with the comparable indicator of 2013, nationwide — by 1.5 percent, according to Bashkortostan Statistics Agency. Thus in the republic the output increased by 3.7 percent in mining, by 3.1 percent in manufacturing activity, by 3.7 percent in generation and distribution of electricity, gas and water.
In manufacturing the output was increased by chemical enterprises (112.4 percent compared to January-November 2013), manufacturers of electrical equipment (110.8), machinery (109.1), transport vehicles and equipment (107), woodworkers (104.3), food (101.3) and petroleum products manufacturers (101).
In the first 11 months decrease was observed in the pulp and paper industry (36.4 percent), manufacture of rubber and plastic products, leather and footwear (10.8), textile and garment enterprises (9.2), metallurgy (7.2), as well as in manufacture of other non-metallic mineral products (0.4).
In regions of the Volga Federal District the industrial production index ranges from 98.4 percent in Ulyanovsk and Samara regions to 112 percent in the Republic of Mordovia.
