Bashkir Reserve hosted a workshop on ethnographic tourism

The Bashkir State Nature Reserve held a scientific workshop "Development of Natural Areas" organized jointly with Sibay College of Arts. Administration officials of Burzyan region, the Ministry of Culture of Bashkortostan, representatives of protected areas considered the organization of ethno-tourism and prospects of the "Golden Belt of Ural Batyr" brand promotion in Burzyan region.
A competition of wood carving masters on the theme the "Ural Batyr" epic was also conducted as part of the workshop.
Roundtable discussions and excursions to ecological route "Arady", to the Nature Museum and demonstration enclosure with red deers were held.
It was recommended to recognize ethnographic tourism as one of the main directions of tourism development in Burzyan region, to include the natural territory of the region to the national tourist route "Golden Belt of Ural Batyr". It is planned to create a group on ethnographic tourism development under administration of Burzyan region and as well a Commission for coordinating direction, style, objects of ethnographic tourism.
