Bashkir ballet troupe will go on tour over the cities of Italy

The Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theatre is preparing for a long tour over Italy. During the tour, from December 1 to 23, artists of the ballet company will give 17 performances in different cities — Milan (Arcimboldi Theatre), Mestre (Nuovo Theatre), San Remo (Ariston Theatre), Venaria Reale (Concordia Theatre), Asti (Alfieri Theatre), Pescara (Circus Theatre), Varese (Teatro di Varese), Orvieto (Mancinelli Theatre), Modena (theater Michelangelo), Gallarate (Condominium Theatre), Trieste (Bobbio Theatre), Grosseto (Modern Theatre), Lecce (Politeama Greco Theatre) and Civitanova (Teatro Rossini). Also, they will perform at the Palace of Congresses in the Swiss city of Lugano.
“Viewers of European theatres will see famous ballets from the classical repertoire — romantic "Giselle" by Adolphe Adam, magical "Nutcracker" and the legendary "Swan Lake" by Pyotr Tchaikovsky,” the literary director of the theatre Alica Sabirova said.
The ballet troupe of the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet is already well known to foreign audience. Earlier artists successfully performed in Italy, Spain, China, Portugal, Brazil, United States, Egypt, the Netherlands and Latvia.
