BSU and Skoltech agreed to cooperate in the field of innovation and educational activities

Bashkir State University (BSU) and Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech) signed an agreement to conduct scientific research. The document was signed by the Vice-President of Skoltech on Development Alexei Sitnikov and rector of BSU Nicholay Morozkin.
As the BSU press centre reports, the document suggests joint work in the field of research, innovation and education. It will be implemented in partnership with the Centre for Science, Innovation and Education "Skoltech Centre for Hydrocarbon Recovery", which was established at the Institute in the last year. Therefore, the work under the contract will primarily involve the structures of Bashkir State University conducting research in the following areas: Department of Geophysics, Department of Applied Physics and Centre of Micro- and Nanoscale Dynamics of Disperse Systems.
Educational activities will take a special place in the teamwork of BSU and Skoltech. The agreement provides for development and implementation of training courses in relevant specialties, exchange and joint training of master’s students.
The agreement was concluded for five years, the total amount of funding for this time will be 111 million 424 thousand rubles. The first tranche of 8 million 756 thousand rubles will directed on the account of Bashkir State University already this year.
