Bashkiria ranks third in the first Russian charity rating

One of the largest charitable foundations of the country Rusfond measured a degree of participation in charity among citizens of 54 Russian regions and on the basis of this survey formed the first Russian charity rating. Bashkortostan took the third place in it. The first place for good deeds is occupied by Dagestan, and Saratov Region is in the second position of the rating. Also the top ten includes Krasnodar, Orenburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Murmansk, Penza, Astrakhan Regions and the Republic of Tatarstan.
According to the results of the survey, in the last year from 62 to 85 percent of Russians rendered help to people unfamiliar to them. The most common type of aid is charity in the streets, in the second place – help with clothing, as well as purchase of food for the needy.
