UFA, 11 November 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. Today, on November 11, in Moscow, a gala concert of the music festival "Ambassadorial Gifts" will be held in the Kremlin Armoury Museum.
A soloist of Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theatre, winner of international competitions Dilara Idrisova (soprano) participates in the performance of music for William Shakespeare's "The Tempest" by composer Thomas Linley of XVIII century. The singer from Bashkortostan will perform five arias from this composition. She will be accompanied by the Moscow Chamber Orchestra «Musica Viva» (artistic director and conductor Alexander Rudin), choral ensemble "Intrada" (artistic director and conductor Ekaterina Antonenko), the text will be read by the People's Artist of Russia Boris Plotnikov.
Music festival "Ambassadorial gifts" for the first time is held in the framework of culture year of the UK and Russia from September 24 to November 11. The festival consists of four concerts. Famous musicians from the UK and Russia will perform the best examples of English and Russian music and will present the audience their own vision of musical traditions of our two countries.
The music festival «Ambassadorial Gifts» is a kind of reconstruction of the historical tradition of cultural collaboration between the two countries, the website of the Moscow Kremlin Museums informs.
