"Accessible Environment" state program is extended to 2020


UFA, 29 October 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. The term of realization of the state program "Accessible Environment" is extended to 2020. The corresponding decree was signed by the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. Previously, it was planned to complete its implementation in 2015.

This solution will allow further accessible environment formation for disabled people and other people with limited mobility.

The document was developed by the Ministry of Labour following the meeting on measures to create conditions for physical culture and sport of the disabled people and Paralympic, Deaf Sports development held on June 25, 2013, and following the meeting of the Council of the Government RF on social welfare on March 7, 2014.

The draft state program "Accessible Environment" for 2011-2020 will be submitted to the Government of the Russian Federation until May 20, 2015.
