UFA, 28 October 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. Three non-governmental organizations of Bashkortostan became winners of the second open competition for Grants of the President of Russia. 466 projects were selected from 4253 applications.
Among the winners there is an Office group to support projects on creating conditions for the SCO and BRICS activities in Ufa in 2015. The project aims at training volunteers for the SCO and BRICS Summits in Ufa. A grant of 2.78 million rubles is given for the entire set of measures.
The second winner is Bashkir republican department of the All-Russian public organization of the disabled "Fakel". The project focuses on forming accessible social infrastructure for people with limited mobility. It provides training of the NGO specialists, as well as information and consulting support of socially oriented non-profit organizations. This will create an institute of certified public experts in the republic who will be able on a professional basis to assess a degree of facilities accessibility. The grant amount is 1.5 million rubles.
The Alumni Association of Presidential Program RB won with a project of sharing experience regarding civil, business initiatives based on the republican network of management associations.
With optimal organization and application of various interaction technologies between government, business and society, a platform organized by the Alumni Association of Presidential Program RB may become a significant factor in the socio-economic development of the region. The grant amount is 1.5 million rubles.
