More than 15 thousand people have ARVI in Bashkortostan

More than 15,000 residents of the republic came down with the acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) the last week, 76.4 percent of them were children under 17 years. In this case, as reported by Rospotrebnadzor RB, the incidence of seasonal influenza is not registered.
In Ufa, during this period more than 4,800 people became ill, including 69.3 percent — children under 17 years. The incidence of the whole population decreased by 1.3 percent compared with the previous week, while among children under the age of two and 7-14 years increased by 7.1 and 4.5 percent respectively.
In Bashkortostan vaccination campaign against seasonal influenza continues. Currently about 370 thousand people are vaccinated, or 9.1 percent of the population of the republic. More than 355 thousand people of them are vaccinated at the expense of the federal budget, more than 12.6 thousand people at the expense of additional funding sources.
