Teachers of mathematics and natural sciences from Bashkiria can participate in the scholarship program Honeywell Educators

Honeywell is accepting applications from teachers of mathematics and science to participate in the Scholarship Program Honeywell Educators @ Space Academy 2015. As the press service of the company informs, in June 2015 teachers will be trained for five days USSRC in Huntsville, Alabama. They will become familiar with the new methods of teaching mathematics and science, try themselves in the exercises in the style of "astronaut" flight simulation on a spaceship and a jet, will be actively involved in interactive programs for calculating the dynamics of flight. In addition, participants will go through a "survival course" on the water and on land.
The program was developed in conjunction with Honeywell's Rocket and Space Center USA (USSRC). Its purpose is to help teachers of mathematics and natural sciences to improve teaching skills and increase the effectiveness of their lessons. Participation in the program is free.
The program has existed since 2004, and in 2014 it was attended by Russian teachers for the first time. Four teachers from Moscow, St. Petersburg and Kazan became finalists.
Applicants are requested to apply for the online program and undergo a selection procedure.
