Rustem Khamitov met with Sandor Molnar, the Consul General of Hungary in Yekaterinburg

On October 15, Rustem Khamitov met with Sandor Molnar, the Consul General of Hungary in Yekaterinburg at the House of Republic, the press service of the head of the region informs.

During the conversation Rustem Khamitov said that "Hungary has always been our strategic partner. Trade turnover between our enterprises and business and your country is very large — more than half a billion. This is a figure of the previous year. It basically consists of our exports — 99 percent, and we buy some goods from you. And today we are working on deepening our economic relationship that is our business work with the business of your country: medium business, small business, not only large one. It is very important for us to strengthen these relationships".

Bashkortostan is also willing to cooperate with Hungary in agriculture sphere.

In turn, the Consul General of Hungary noted that the Consulate in Yekaterinburg worked on further development of both economic and trade, cultural and tourist relations.

“It would be great if the next year the Consulate General is opened in your neighborhood — in Tatarstan, Kazan. I am sure that if all formal procedures successfully complete — our communication will be much closer than it is now when we supervise these links from Yekaterinburg”, Sandor Molnar said.

According to the Consul, the next year the Minister of Agriculture of Hungary, Mr. Fazekas plans to visit Russia, in particular, Bashkortostan, Tatarstan and Chuvashia.
