Vladimir Spivakov and "Moscow Virtuosi" performed in Ufa as part of anniversary tour

 

UFA, 14 October 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. In Ufa, the only concert of the famous State Chamber Orchestra "Moscow Virtuosos" headed by People's Artist of the USSR Vladimir Spivakov took place at Congress Hall.

The concert was dedicated to at once three dates — the 70th anniversary of Vladimir Spivakov’s birth, the 35-year anniversary of the orchestra he founded, and the 20th anniversary of his charity foundation.

The scholarship holder of the Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Foundation, 11-year-old Barbara Kutuzova (piano), as well as two Moscow musicians — Alina Yarovaya from the Bolshoi Theatre and Alexei Nekludov from "New Opera" theatre were soloists of the concert. Music by Mozart, Verdi, Puccini and other composers was performed.

As part of the concert new scholarships holders replenished the Spivakov International Charity Foundation. Pianists Timothy Vladimirov, Elena Kolesnikova, violinist Anastasia Mamyasheva, balalaika player Amir Zhalimov are now under the special guardianship of the foundation.

Immediately after the concert the maestro departed to the city of Salavat, where the orchestra would perform today at the opening of the music school for gifted children. Then he will return to Ufa to participate in a charity concert at the Column Hall of the Ministry of Agriculture.
