UFA, 7 October 2014. /Bashinform News Agency,Iliya Spiridonov /. Maxim Topilin "regions attracted private investors for social facilities construction will receive federal support"
Next year regions that will attract private investors for construction of social objects will be able to get subsidies from the federal budget. This was announced by the Minister of Labour and Social Protection RF Maxim Topilin after a meeting with the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan Rustem Mardanov.
“All social facilities are supervised by the subjects of the Russian Federation. No funds have been allocated for their construction from the federal budget in recent years. The following year, for the first time funds will become available to support the regions that attract private investors for the construction of such facilities: various children's health facilities, rehabilitation centres for people with disabilities. Thus, new, much more advanced tools of social infrastructure development will appear,” Maxim Topilin said.
During the meeting Maxim Topilin and Rustem Mardanov discussed the challenges the republic faced in the field of social policy. So, soon the new federal law "On the principles of social services to citizens" comes into force, which provides new opportunities to provide social services to the population, including by non-governmental agencies. According to Rustem Mardanov, currently work is being conducted in this direction in Bashkortostan.
The issue of wages legalization was also raised. Maxim Topilin noted that this problem was common to many regions of the Russian Federation. Its decision should help the new pension reform.
“It aims at making work of citizens legal, that people work long enough to give a high salary. After 10 years, the pension will depend far more on this than now. But the Ministry and regional authorities should work on this to achieve these goals”, Maxim Topilin said.
