Ufa will host the All-Russian festival "Music Review - 25"

 

UFA, 26 September 2014. /Bashinform News Agency/.  On Wednesday, October 1, the All-Russian Festival "Music Review — 25" will be held in Ufa. It will be devoted to the International Day of Music and the 25th anniversary of the famous Russian newspaper.

The "Music Review — 25" Festival covers 56 cities, 52 regions of all nine federal districts of Russia, more than 10,000 musicians. From March to December concerts, shows and conferences will be held across the country.

“This festival is an interesting campaign organized by the "The Musical Review" newspaper. The basis of the concert programs are works associated with 25 figure: For example, a piano concerto by Benjamin Britten, written by him when he was 25 years old”, the artistic director of the National Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Bashkortostan Rustem Suleimanov explained.

Also the program of the concert includes two works by Richard Strauss, written in the age of 25 — the symphonic poem "Death and Transfiguration" and "Don Giovanni".

Winners of international competitions, violinist and pianist Ilshat Muslumov, Marat Gubaidullin will solo at the concert. The conductor  - Rinat Kamalov.

The festival will be held in the Concert Hall of the Ufa Art College at 103, Pushkin Street, beginning is at 19.00.
