UFA, 26 September 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Iliya Spiridonov/. Bashkiria on an official visit was attended by representatives of the Confederation of Businessmen and Industrialists of Turkey (TUSKON). As reported by the Bashkir regional department "OPORA Russia", Turkish businessmen held talks with Republican businessmen and discussed cooperation issues.
During the visit, they met with the heads of Sterlitamak and Salavat Alexey Izotov and Robert Gilfanov and visited Sterlitamak Technopark "Inmash". The Chairman of the Association of Businessmen and Industrialists of Ankara ANKISAD Harun Akcha announced their intention to organize furniture assembly at the industrial park.
The next item of the working visit of Turkish businessmen became Salavat cold storage facility, where local entrepreneurs presented a project to create a major logistics centre with the possibility of packing and preservation of products.
TUSKON representatives took part in the opening ceremony of «UralStroyIndustry» exhibition, which was held in the exhibition centre "VDNkH-Expo". A proposal to quarry mining and basalt fiber production for the needs of the Russian gas transport system aroused the great interest among Turkish businessmen.
Several major contracts for supply of fruit and vegetables were concluded with the "Eurasia" market. Turkish businessmen presented the project of a logistics centre construction in the neighborhood area developed by the Corporation of innovative technologies "KIT STAR".
The final event of the visit was a forum "Business with TUSKON. Partner Search", conducted at the car centre "Caravan" in Chesnokovka village of Ufa area. It was attended by representatives of state and municipal authorities, business community organizations. The signing of the memorandum of cooperation between "OPORA Russia" and the Association of Entrepreneurs of the Black Sea region KARGID was the outcome of the forum. The KARGID Chairman Ahmet Yaşar Altyntash noted the importance of the relationship between the businessmen of Russia and Turkey.
Total more than 90 meetings carried out with representatives of the national business community within the framework of the visit, 18 cooperation agreements were concluded.
Confederation of Businessmen and Industrialists of Turkey (TUSKON) was established in 2005 in Istanbul. It is composed of 202 business associations, 52 thousand businessmen. One of the main objectives of TUSKON is to promote Turkish businessmen in the course of integration into the global business community.
