UFA, 23 September 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. For the past week Bashkir Drug Police seized about seven kilograms of drugs. Among them there was hashish, poppy straw extract, synthetic drugs and psychoactive substances. Marijuana constituted the most part of the seized drugs, the press service of the Federal Drug Control Service of the Russian Federation in Bashkortostan informs.
850 grams of cannabis was found during personal search of a 17-year-old student on the road Neftekamsk — Kaltasy. Detectives arrested a 42-year-old Ufa resident, previously convicted for drug possession, in the stairwell of a block of flats. He had a package with 2 kg of marijuana on him. The same crop-based drug of 1.4 kg was in the package of a 46-year-old resident of Sterlitamak detained on the outskirts of the city.
Total, the department initiated 51 criminal cases this week.
