Dresden University students visited the "Alekseevsky" German cultural centre in Blagovar region


UFA, 17 September 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. The Prishyb village of Blagovar region was visited by a delegation of students from Dresden Technical University of Germany.

Students were met by pupils, the principal, teachers of the local school. The head of "Alekseevsky" German historical and cultural centre Tatiana Kaaz invited to taste the German pastries — Kuhen. Then they took a tour of the school.

Tatiana Kaaz told the story of Germans resettlement to Bashkortostan, the establishment of schools, introduced the exhibits of the museum. Schoolchildren prepared for the guests the concert program "Russia — our Motherland". The program included songs in Russian and in German.

The next item was visiting the German historical and cultural centre. Tatiana Kaaz told about the life of the first German settlers, about their kitchen utensils. It was interesting and unusual for students, who came from Germany, to hear in the Russian depth of the country their native speech. Elderly locals told them about German arts and crafts.

At the end of the meeting, members of the German folk ensemble «Volksklang» performed for the guests German folk songs.
