Rustem Khamitov won 82.4 percent of votes - CEC RB

After processing of 97 percent of the commissions protocols Rustem Khamitov leads in the presidential race, Marina Dolmatova CEC Secretary RB said. According to preliminary data, the head of the republic won 82.4 percent of votes. Yunir Kutluguzhin received 9.89 percent of votes. Preliminary results of voters confidence in Ivan Sukharev is 4.4 percent. Ildar Bikbaev won 2.54 percent of votes of the republic. The turnout was 76.69 percent of registered voters.
On the single voting day of September 14, 2014 22 election campaigns were conducted on the territory of Bashkortostan. The main of them were early presidential elections of the republic.
“Voting in the republic went well, without incidents. In general, it is traditional for Bashkortostan”, Rustem Khamitov said in his interview to the BST TV channel.
According to the head of the region, the turnout was high but not a record for our republic. Rustem Khamitov urged to wait for the final results of the elections. In case of his victory, the head of the republic assured that he would continue the same political course.
“We have one objective — to work for people”, Rustem Khamitov said.
