Bashkiria will receive 10 billion rubles for roads construction from the federal budget in 2015

10 billion rubles will be allocated for construction of roads in the Republic of Bashkortostan in 2015. This was reported by the Transport Minister RF Maxim Sokolov at a meeting on preparation of the transport system to the SCO and BRICS Summits to be held in Ufa in 2015. The meeting with participation of the Russian Presidential Envoy to the Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich, the head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov, members of the republican Government was held on Friday at the House of the Republic.

The federal funding for 2014, according to Maxim Sokolov, will make 6.15 billion rubles.

The meeting participants discussed the preparation of the main objects to Ufa Summits. One of them is the Ufa International Airport. The entire reconstruction project of the airport complex is designed for 2013-2017. The estimated amount of funding will be 9.4 billion rubles, including 7.5 billion rubles — from the federal budget. Works are going on according to the schedule.

Salavat Sagitov, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB told about the construction and reconstruction of the main objects of the Summits. By November 2014 the Congress Hall — the main venue of future events will be fully ready to welcome guests. About one thousand journalists will cover in media the SCO and BRICS Summits. For them a mobile press centre will be equipped.

The concert hall of the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theatre is preparing for solemn ceremonies. Currently, reconstruction works are being conducted there. The State Kremlin Palace is engaged in organization of the cultural program, with the active assistance of the republic.

The plan for medical support of Summits and the list of involved medical institutions are approved. Security issues are elaborated. In particular, the CCTV will be organized. 54 million rubles will be allocated from the republican budget for purchase and installation of video cameras and data centres.

Business activities of the Summits will be held in the State Concert Hall "Bashkortostan", which is currently under reconstruction.

Hotels are also preparing to welcome guests. According to Salavat Sagitov, four hotels will be commissioned before the end of 2014. Prior to April 1, 2015 three more hotels will be put into operation. The total number of rooms will be 3700.

The look of Ufa will be decorated with updated facades of major universities. 150 million rubles will be allocated for their repair, as well as for beautification of the surrounding areas.

In the days of the forum 1000 volunteers with knowledge of English and Chinese languages will help the guests of Ufa. 1.5 million rubles will be directed for their training.
