Members of precinct election commissions, who will oversee the running of touchscreen voting machines on the voting day, undergo training at JSC "Krystall".
As the Central Election Commission RB explains, during the voting at the pre-term elections of the President of the Republic of Bashkortostan ballot paper processing systems will be applied at 178 polling stations. Over three hundred operators are taking training courses now (two specialists per one polling station).
The main task of ballot paper processing system is to accelerate and facilitate the work of members of precinct election commissions, to ensure the accuracy of the vote count.
Recall, that one day prior to voting, and one hour prior to voting the complexes should be tested.
In Russia, these automated systems have been used for several years and have proven their reliability and accuracy. Since 2011, ballot paper processing systems are used regularly in the territory of Bashkortostan too.
