27 leading republican producers of milk and dairy products will present their goods at the All-Russian Festival "Dairy Country" which will be held in Ufa on August 30. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture RB Nikolay Kovalenko at a press conference held today at Bashinform News Agency.

“The main advantage of this event is direct communication of producers and consumers, residents of Ufa. This is especially important, because not all companies are represented in commercial chains. For example, Yanaul Dairy Plant after previous fairs has gained popularity, and its products appeared in stores”, the Minister said.

Azat Fazlyev, the Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry RB noted that this year's festival would be decorated similar to European carnivals. Various venues will offer Ufa townspeople entertainments suited to every fancy, and the leading directors and actors from Ufa and the neighboring regions will be engaged in the event.

At the traditional dairy fair Ufa residents and guests will be able to taste and buy fresh milk and milk products sold without distribution margins.

According to Nikolay Kovalenko, a dairy farm should be of great interest where domestic animals that give milk will be displayed. Eight breeding farms will bring cows, goats, horses and sheep of various breeds and guests will be able to watch the milking process and taste the fresh milk.

For younger visitors there will be a children's playground with amusement and creative workshops. Guests of the festival will also see the street of dairy crafts, and the youth will be able to compete at Kefir Fest.

The concert program of the festival will bring together prominent Ufa artists and creative teams from Moscow and the neighboring regions.

The Chairman of the National Union of Milk Producers "Soyuzmoloko" Andrei Danilenko said that the festival" Dairy Country"- was the world's largest event dedicated to the milk.

“There are no activities of such scale conducted anywhere in the world. We can confidently say that Ufa is the capital of milk and dairy industry”, Andrey Danilenko said.
