There were 44 forest fires in Bashkortostan from the beginning of the year

The number of forest fires that occurred in Bashkortostan since the beginning of the fire hazardous season reached 44, the press service of the Ministry of Forestry of the republic informs. The fire covered more than 155 hectares of forest.

Four fires registered for the last day were also included in these statistics. 8.17 hectares of forest suffered from fire.

One of the fires began in Zilair region, in Emashlinskoe District Forestry on the area of 0.07 hectares. Thunderstorm was a cause of the fire. The fire was extinguished in the shortest possible time.

Another forest ground fire spread from the Orenburg region to the territory of Baishevskoe District Forestry in Zianchurino region. The fire covered 3.5 hectares of forest. By the evening, the fire was extinguished.

The third fire was discovered by air patrol in Burzyan region in the territory of the Beterinskoye District Forestry. The cause of the fire is not yet established. The fire covered 1.6 hectares of forest. During the day, the fire was eliminated.

Late in the evening the fire caused due to thunderstorms was localized in the New Alexandrovskoye District Forestry in Zilair region in the area of 3 hectares. Currently, works are being conducted on its elimination.

Furthermore, the second night extinguishing of another forest fire continues in the same forestry.
