More than 1.2 million sq. m of housing were commissioned in Bashkortostan for seven months in 2014 due to all sources of funding. This is 6.4 percent above the level of the last year, according to Bashkortostan Statistics Agency. A total of 13.9 thousand apartments were built. 308 sq. m of housing were put into operation per one thousand of the population.
The share of individual developers was accounted for 75.4 percent in the housing structure. 8.2 thousand houses with a total area of 944.9 thousand sq. m were built at own means and with loans attraction. This is 3.2 percent lower than the last year's level.
The volume of housing commissioned by enterprises and organizations of the republic grew by 53.1 percent compared to the same period of 2013 and amounted to 308.4 thousand sq. m, of which 37.4 thousand meet the standards of economy-class housing.
Bashkortostan Statistics Agency marks that among the regions of the Volga Federal District the republic is on the second place after the Republic of Tatarstan in terms of residential buildings commissioning and new housing per capita.
