According to recent reports, one-time financial assistance from the budget of Bashkortostan in the amount of 944,000 rubles was received by 418 refugees from Ukraine. These data were announced during videoconferencing on welfare arrangement of Ukrainian citizens in the territory of the Volga Federal District, chaired by the Deputy Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District Oleg Melnichenko.
Members of the Plenipotentiary Representative Office of the President of Russia in the Volga Federal District, the main federal inspectors and heads of the regional crisis centres took part in the videoconferencing.
Representatives of Bashkortostan, Kirov, Nizhny Novgorod, Orenburg and Samara regions made reports on some problematic issues. An additional package of proposals to the Government of the Russian Federation was prepared.
Note that as of August 15, there are already over 35 thousand people in the Volga Federal District, most of whom (28,000) came independently. The transportation of seven thousand citizens to regions of Volga Federal District was organized.
3988 people arrived in Bashkortostan. 3783 people addressed to FMS RB, 975 of them for provision of temporary shelter. 970 people were registered as individuals in need of assistance in finding employment, 184 were employed. 51 children were placed in pre-school institutions, 34 in institutions of general education.
