Telethon "We are together" gathered almost 2 million rubles for Ukrainian refugees
During the charity marathon "We are together," which was held by the BST channel to help refugees from Ukraine, humanitarian aid worth about 2 million rubles was collected. The marathon was held on Wednesday, August 13, from 7.00 to 23.00.
“The humanitarian aid, according to the calculations of volunteers is estimated at about two million rubles. These are hygiene items, clothing, stationery, school things; practically all of them are new. The collected items were partly sent to the town of Kumertau and remaining things will be sorted and distributed over the republic by the Red Cross workers. It was managed to collect about 270 thousand rubles of money means, including by SMS, revenues on the account and cash transferred to a special box. Enterprises and companies of the republic took an active part in the marathon — the Prosecutor's Office RB, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection RB, LLC "Herbs of Bashkortostan", a chain of shops "Yarmarka", "Bashkortostan" Shopping Mall, republican society of disabled”, the chief editor of the BST channel Guzel Khasanova said.
Also as part of the charity marathon an SMS-campaign on rendering help to people displaced from Ukraine is still ongoing. You can send a 3443 code phrase "We are together" from your mobile phone. The price of one SMS-message is 50 rubles.
The campaign was supported by the Government RB, as well as the Fund of Social Targeted Programs.
