Amount of fines for illegal mining has reached 6 million rubles in Bashkortostan

Raids to detect cases of illegal mining of common commercial minerals continue in Bashkortostan.

From the beginning of the year, the state inspectors of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of Bashkortostan Republic established 96 cases of illegal mining of common commercial minerals. "Black diggers" extracted 96,000 cubic metres of natural resources.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Ecology RB, last week, the facts of unlicensed production of common mineral resources were fixed in Ilishevo, Miyaki, Dyurtyuli, Meleuz, Tatyshly and Chekmagush regions.

Inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology imposed eight administrative penalties, one of which – on a legal entity in the amount of 800 thousand rubles, and seven — on individuals totaling 21,000 rubles.

Since the beginning of 2014 the total amount of fines for illegal mining has reached 6 million rubles.
