author: Yuliya Antipina

Bashkir Branch of the Russian Red Cross takes things to help refugees from the Ukraine. The campaign was organized by Bashkir Satellite TV (BST) and is a part of the telethon "We are together", which is broadcast on TV today.

Headquarters are located on the square in front of the broadcast centre where Red Cross volunteers receive donations from the public.

The chairman of the regional branch of the Russian Red Cross Yuriy Simonov gives recommendations for those wishing to take part in the charity event:

“We especially need clothes for adults and children. They must be not torn or worn, without any other restrictions. We also need bedding, hygiene items — soap, shampoo. We also take food stuff — not expired canned food in undamaged packaging. We accept medical preparations, but limited. If you want to bring something for medical treatment, then it can be bandages and dressing, brilliant green, iodine.”

Things acceptance will last till 20.00.
