Rustem Khamitov awarded children-heroes
On July 29, Rustem Khamitov presented awards to children who had committed heroic deeds. 11 young heroes were marked with lapel badges, certificates of public and state initiative "Hot Heart" and vouchers to children's health camp "Bereg" (Alushta city, Republic of Crimea), the press service of the head of the region informs.
The head of Bashkortostan drew attention to the fact that at once two children awarded for life saving in water — Vitaly Cherepanov and Rufina Latypova — came from Serafimovsky village of Tuimazy region. They said that in their native village there were no special places for swimming. Rustem Khamitov gave instructions to the head of Tuimazy region and the head of the village council to resolve this issue.
The project of Russian public and state initiative "Hot Heart" is being implemented since 2013. The main project participants are children and young people under the age of 23 years.
In 2014, 128 young people were awarded with a badge and diploma of "Hot Heart". Among them there were natives of Bashkortostan Fadis Akhmetov and Nikita Baranov.
