Rustem Khamitov attended a meeting on issues of accommodation and welfare of people forced to leave the territory of Ukraine, chaired by the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
According to the Federal Migration Service, as of today, in Russia there are 144 thousand people who applied to the FMS for a status not related to work.
Dmitry Medvedev stressed that the task of authorities at all levels is to treat forced migrants with the utmost care, provide them with all necessary assistance.
Dmitry Medvedev said that by the Russian Government resolution transfers for resettlement of refugees to temporary accommodation facilities are provided for regions. More than 3.5 billion rubles of budget funds are allocated. 780 million rubles will be directed to FMS of Russia for Ukrainian citizens’reception.
As of July 21, 2014 the Directorate of the Federal Migration Service of Russia in the Republic of Bashkortostan registered 1981 citizens of Ukraine. After April 1 this year 906 people arrived in the republic, 325 people applied to the migration service.
The control centre to coordinate activities of authorities and organizations providing accommodation and social adaptation of Ukraine nationals in the republic is organized at Bashkortostan Government. Two temporary accommodation facilities are deployed in Ufa — at sanatoriums of Ufa State Aviation Technical University and Bashkir State University.
The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection RB opened "hotline" on employment issues.
