Bashkir masters competed well at Draughts Tournament Heerhugowaard Open

In the town of Heerhugowaard (Netherlands) the International Draughts Tournament Heerhugowaard Open ended, which is the stage of the World Cup qualifiers and part of preliminary round of traditional Mind Games (Beijing, December 2014).

Among 191 participants there were four players from Bashkortostan: Alexander Georgiev, Murodullo Amrillaev, Ainur Shaibakov and Aigul Idrisova. All of them have the world champion title in their sports career.

Following the tournament all Bashkortostan draughts players entered the top ten. The reigning world champion Alexander Georgiev showed the best result — took the second place (Shaibakov – the fifth, Amrillaev — the ninth, Idrisova — the eighth).
