Air monitoring of woodland is suspended in Bashkortostan
Today, fire hazard of the second class is observed on average in Bashkortostan, which means a low probability of occurrence new forest fires in the next few days. In this regard, air monitoring of the woodland is suspended in the republic, the press service of the Ministry of Forestry informs. Only ground patrols are conducted.
“Today, fire hazard of the third class is marked in 17 regions of the republic, of the forth class – in three sparsely wooded areas: Meleuzovsky, Fedorovsky and Sterlitamaksky regions”, the senior manager of the regional operations control centre at the Ministry of Forestry RB Liana Tukhvatullina says.
Since the beginning of the fire hazardous season 27 forest fires have been recorded in Bashkortostan, which damaged 97.83 hectares of forest lands.
