Bashkiria will receive additional 8.5 million rubles for creation of jobs for disabled
Bashkiria will receive 8.5 million rubles from the federal budget for creation of special jobs for wheelchair users, the Minister of Labour and Social Development of Bashkortostan Lenara Ivanova reported at the session held in the Government RB on Wednesday, June 11.
“This year we plan to employ nine wheelchair users”, Lenara Ivanova said. “Here priority may be given to objects of public sector in the sphere of education, health, culture and social protection, to which funds are allocated for creation of a barrier-free environment within the "accessible environment" program.
In Bashkortostan, currently 1853 wheelchair users reside (total 2600 disabled people) of the working age, 49 companies are willing to employ people with disabilities. The following occupations - accountant, clerk, programmer, manager and psychologist are in demand.
“Since 2010, 875 persons with disabilities are employed in jobs specially equipped for them”, Lenara Ivanova marked. “In 2014, it is planned to employ 286 jobless people with disabilities.
