Ufa State Petroleum Technological University (USPTU), Bashkir State University (BSU) and Ufa State Aviation Technical University (USATU) have improved their positions in the annual rating of hundred Russian universities, compiled by the rating agency "Expert RA". USPTU now takes place the 47th position against the 52nd last year, BSU — 88th place (in 2013 – 106th), and USATU — 89 (2013 – 90th).
While preparing the rating statistics indexes were used, surveys were conducted among 7500 respondents — employers, representatives of academic and scientific community, students and alumni.
Lomonosov Moscow State University became the winner of the rating for the third consecutive year. MSU also is still beyond the competition in terms of research activity.
