Two forest fires are eliminated this weekend in Bashkortostan, the press service of the Ministry of Forestry RB informs.
One of them occurred in Beloretsky region in seven km from Uzyan village in the evening on June 6. The thunderstorm caused the fire. The fire damaged 0.5 hectares of forest. By the next morning the fire was extinguished.
In the evening of June 7 a wildfire occurred in Burziansky region, seven kilometers from Irgizly village on the area of 2 ha. The reason of its occurrence is not currently established. 12 people and four items of equipment participated in liquidation of the fire.
Thus, since the beginning of the fire hazardous season 19 forest fires were recorded in the republic. The fires covered 84.8 hectares, including 54.9 hectares of leased territory. Extinguishing efficiency was 95 percent.
