In Salou (Spain) the traditional international tournament Salou Open International Draughts finished. It was attended by 124 draughts players — from Europe, Africa, Asia and America. Among a dozen grandmasters there were two from Bashkortostan: the current world champion Alexander Georgiev and the world champion as part of the Russian team Murodullo Amrillaev.

Once again Alexander Georgiev has become the best player (the champion of 2002-2004, 2006, 2011, 2013).

The second was Anatoly Gantvarg (Belarus), the third Guntis Valneris (Latvia).

Murodullo Amrillaev took the 12th place.
