Vasilevsky, Zubarev and Kutuzov became world champions 2014 as part of the Russian hockey team

In Minsk the World Ice Hockey Championship 2014 finished. And the Russian team was stronger than its opponent in the final. In the tenth match the team of Finland was defeated — 5:2 for the second time during the tournament. Russia won all the matches in this championship.

As part of the national team former Salavat Yulaev goalkeeper and now Tampa Bay Lightning player Andrey Vasilevsky, defender Andrey Zubarev and new player of Ufa club Alexander Kutuzov became world champions.
