Intergovernmental cooperation agreement between Bashkortostan and the Chinese province of Jiangxi has been signed

On May 20, in Shanghai (China) an Agreement between the Government of Bashkortostan and the People's Government of Jiangxi Province on cooperation in trade and economic, scientific- technical and humanitarian spheres was signed in the framework of the state visit to China of the Russian President Vladimir Putin. The document was signed by the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov and Governor of Jiangxi Lu Xinshe, the press service of the head of the republic informs.

Recall that the official visit of the Russian delegation to China headed by Vladimir Putin was organized at the invitation of the PRC President Xi Jinping.

During the visit, two leaders held talks, signed a package of important intergovernmental, interdepartmental and commercial documents.

On May 21, the President of Russia will take part in the fourth Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICMA), which will be devoted to strengthening dialogue and coordination to the benefit of a new, peaceful and stable Asia. During the meetings it is scheduled to discuss future CICMA development, kremlin.ru reports.
