Children's rights activist Pavel Astakhov has arrived in Bashkortostan

Today the Children's Rights Commissioner for the President of the Russian Federation Pavel Astakhov pays a working visit to Bashkortostan.

It’s program includes visiting educational institutions of the region. Ufa Boarding School with primary flight training named after the Hero of the Soviet Union Musa Gareev will be the first place to visit by the children's rights activist. Then Pavel Astakhov plans to meet with students of Bashkir State University. The Ombudsman will visit a festival of foster families of Ufa in volunteer centre of Bashkir State Medical University.

In the afternoon, a meeting with the leadership of the republic is scheduled.

This is Pavel Astakhov’s fifth visit to Bashkortostan. In 2013, the children's rights activist was in the region twice. In April he took part in the Seventh All-Russian Congress of the Children Ombudsmen in the subjects of the Russian Federation. In November he visited Ufa while complex inspection of republican children's homes and social shelters.
