On May 14,15 and 16, in the capital the temperatures will rise to high summer values. According to forecasts of the Russian Meteorological Centre 31-degree heat is expected.
As the weather forecasters mark, May record temperatures are already fixed in the south Urals and in the Middle Volga area. There is also hot weather there, with temperatures by seven degrees or more above normal.
The high anticyclone and the south wind brought dry and hot weather to the region, forecasters consider.
By the end of the week and on Monday, May 19 temperatures will drop to 23-25 degrees Celsius in Bashkiria. Light rains are also expected.
