Bashkir State University (BSU) and the universities of China are going to start the exchange of students, post-graduates and doctoral students. Such an agreement they reached during the visit of the BSU Rector Nicholay Morozkin and pro-rector for International Cooperation and Public Relations Alexander Shabrin to Nanchang University and East China Jiaotong University.
Bashkir State University now can annually enroll up to 30 Chinese students and undergraduates from each partner university as part of exchange programs, carry out joint research projects and take part in international Russian-Chinese activities.
Chinese colleagues have shown great interest in science and innovation activities at BSU, in particular in developments in the field of genetics, polymer chemistry and engineering.
During the meeting with the rector of Nanchang University Zhou Chuanbin and director of the Institute of Foreign Languages Liu Ting, Nicholay Morozkin and Alexander Shabrin discussed opening the new "English and Chinese languages" program at BSU.
Nanchang University is one of the leading universities of China. Here humanities, sciences, engineering and medical sciences are taught. There are 16 departments, 86 philological, historical, economic, managerial, legal, natural, technical, agricultural, medical, teaching programs for undergraduates at the university.
Nanchang University was founded in 1940, now more than 80,000 students study there. The university works on the international exchange and cooperation programs with more than 30 universities and research institutions from 20 countries.
East China Jiaotong University offers a wide range of specialties, including eight major disciplines: science, technology, economics, management, literature, law, education and the arts. The university has 17 schools and offers 58 undergraduate programs, 17 master's programs of the first-class and 9 master's programs of the second-class.
East China Jiaotong University has over 20,000 students, 1600 employees and lecturers (more than 460 professors and associate professors). The university takes an active part in international exchange and cooperation, maintaining connections with more than 40 foreign universities of America, England, France, Germany, Russia, Canada, Korea, Australia, India and Japan.
