The National Hockey League club "Tampa Bay Lightning" signed a three year contract with the goalkeeper of Ufa "Salavat Yulaev" Andrey Vasilevsky, the official website of Tampa Bay Lightning reports.
Last season the 19-year-old Andrei Vasilevsky played for Salavat Yualaev 28 games in the KHL regular season, scoring 14 wins with a 2.21 goals-against average and a 92.3 save percentage.
In the playoffs, he held 18 matches and won at nine (1.99 goals per game and 93.4 save percentage).
On May 9, Vasilevsky with another Ufa resident — Andrei Zubarev as part of the Russian team starts competing at the World Championship 2014 in Minsk.
