Residents of Bashkortostan congratulated war veterans of Crimea

On May 7, a solemn meeting devoted to 69th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War was held in Belogorsky region of the Republic of Crimea. Each veteran was handed over a greeting card with the personal signature of the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov.

A few days ago the next convoy with humanitarian aid arrived to Crimea from Ufa, which included food gifts, as well as warm jackets for war veterans. Gifts were awarded at the solemn meetings in Belogorsk and Zuya village.

Veterans of Belogorsky region estimated quality and generous assortment of Bashkir parcels, including the famous Bashkir honey, Chishminsky sunflower oil, Karlamansky condensed milk, buckwheat, confectionery, grocery products. Each parcel weighted eight kilograms. Schoolchildren of Belogorsky region helped to bring gifts home and tied St. George ribbons sent from Ufa.

"Remembering our victory over fascism — it is not only to pay tribute to our veterans, which is very valuable, but it is primarily an important educational moment for our children and grandchildren, for young people", said unanimously participants of solemn meetings in Crimea.
